British Summers Day

I thought I'd make the most of the gorgeous weather today. I've been obsessed with this dress recently which I picked up in a charity shop whilst I was in Wales. The dropped waistline of the dress gives and effortless boho look which I love as I hate being restricted into a dress.

I paired the dress with this gorgeous choker from River Island. It catches the light differently on individual parts adding a little bit of a glow to the look.

The shoes are some of my favourite that I bought from Nasty Gal last summer. They're not the most comfy mules but I just think they're so cool haha! Put gold studded stars on anything and I will be obsessed.

How To Style Brown

As a redhead brown in one of the most unflattering colours, along with yellow and orange. However I've been trying to make it work recently by styling it with a prominent white piece like this cotton dress from Jack Wills. Adding in another shade of brown also helps counteract the harshness of the dark brown jacket against pale skin. Having the bag and shoes match in colour really ties the outfit all together. By having two items the same colour in your outfit you are always onto a winner.
