My Autumn Makeup Basics

As much as I love to experiment with new, different products, I always find it interesting to see what products people use on a daily basis. These products are all my current favourites and I feel as though I have found a number which will remain in my every day routine for a long time.

As we fall into autumn my routine does't particularly change hugely however it does mean I can get away with wearing more makeup! By more makeup I mean a higher coverage. For example I swapped the tinted moisturiser for my Loreal Lumi magique foundation, which doesn't have the highest coverage but provides a beautiful glow to the skin, whilst lasting all day. To conceal the black bin bags under my eyes I have been using the NARS creamy radiance concealer in the shade 'Chantilly'. I love the light boost this gives to my under eye circles, whilst being moisturising.

To stop the ghost appearing before Halloween I like to use The Balm Desert bronzer. I have tried many a bronzer and can say hand on heart that this is the best one I have ever tried. The formulation of the powder is so smooth and always goes on like a dream. To apply I use the real techniques blush brush.

I don't always have the time for contour, however recently its been a part of my routine which I really enjoy doing. Somehow I have managed to peel myself away from the Sleek contour kit and am now loving using the Collection contour kit. The products are very similar, however you definitely get more for your money with the collection palette. The highlight is average, so I use a separate one.

Blush is a crucial part of my everyday routine. The balm's Frat Boy blush gives a cute rosy look. To top off my face I have been obsessed with the Seventeen Shimmer brick - an obvious dupe of the Bobbi Brown shimmer brick. The result is a beautiful glow, free of any large chunks of glitter. I generally only use the top two shades swirled together.

I keep to my standard brow routine, however I tend to change up my eye look daily. When I get ready for school i'm often in a rush however I have a few go to looks. The first being the simple winged liner - which works well when I wear my glasses. Plus the Schwing liner from The Balm makes winged liner a breeze. The next is a more grunge look using the Maybelline leather effects eyeshadow base which is a product I have liked for a long time now. To top off all of these I use Too Faced better than sex mascara. I am honestly dreading the day this runs out!

So these the staple products I put on my face daily during Autumn!

Autumn Evening

The end of the first school term is getting closer! (Thank god) And boy has it been stressful. One of my de-stressing strategies is to go on a nice country walk. I really enjoy being able to free my mind of negativity and to stop focusing on what I need to do next and deadlines. I consider myself luck to be near Blenheim Palace. With its beautiful grounds and stunning scenery it makes for the perfect evening walk. One of my favourite things about Blenheim is the amazing trees. When I was little I used to love exploring them with my siblings, now i'm older I really appreciate their  beauty and love to imagine just how long they've been there for.

Wearing:

Jacket - Topshop
Shoes - Clarks
Jeans - Zara
Jumper - GAP
Lipstick - Mac Rebel

I hope your all having a lovely start to Autumn!

Love,
