Recently I decided it was time for a makeover. My room has always been my happy place and my little hobby you could say. I can't imagine how many layers of paint have been layered on top of one and other. Gone are the days of my floral print obsession, to an extent where everything becomes camouflaged in a floral blur! (Although I still have a weak point for a good Cath Kidston print). I wanted to make my room a lot brighter and more simplistic. White has been my focus, and I'm so happy it was now. I feel so much more summery, happy and generally brighter when I step into my room. Having a new room also makes me a lot more motivated and stress free. Before I decorated and removed furniture I went through all of my storage from under the bed, and let me tell you that was a mammoth job! I got rid of about 5 large bin bag sized bags, of which I recycled and gave most of it to the Charity Shop.
Here is a list of a few of the pieces of furniture/ item shown in the images above.
Dachsund: Dunelm Mill
Lantern: Hobby Craft
Light up rabbit: Primark
Hanging love hearts: Dunelm Mill
I hope you love my new room!
